The paintings. Most were painted on location in a few hours and given to my hosts in return for their feeding and sheltering of me.

Something I wasn’t expecting was just how grateful I would feel whilst staying with people and therefore the strength of feeling I was to have in really wanting to give people a good painting.

Some paintings were commissions to fund the tour, painted in locations chosen by people before the tour started and, like the locations of the hosts, effectively determining the overall route.

As I’m still finishing several paintings started on the tour, more will be added to this page as they’re finished. They include scenes from counties Waterford, Cork, Sligo, Antrim, Down, and more.
